We checked out of our OK KOA and headed east to Texas, pulling off for
Cadillac Ranch. When the kids asked where why we were getting of the highway, we just told them we were going to a ranch. "With horses?" "No." "Awwww. Who wants to go to a ranch without horses???" "Trust us. You'll like this ranch."

The girls have been complaining that we visit to many "train and plane" museums (though Arthur and Joseph could visit them all day every day). So, when we saw a horse museum in Amarillo, we took a detour. Presenting. . . .the American Quarter Horse Museum!

 |
| Flags are still at half-mast for President George H. W. Bush |
